Home Protection Firm - AKA Home Care Alliance Group. (posted 1/25/11)
Tried to scam me but everything seemed to good to be true. A little research later found them to have the same fax number and address (except for the suite #). The gig was the same, $1,995 upfront on assumption of approval. The bank with the current loan did not have any record of negotiating about the loan, and wow, a 2.5% interest rate what a deal!! I've left their names out due to legal concerns, but would like to pass on to fraud investigators for additional help.
By the way, it is illegal for any person or business (even lawyers) to collect up front fees before the actual modification has been completed. Put these guys away before they move away!
