Cal Countries is the WORST escrow service I have ever worked with. Buying property is always a serious and important transaction so remember, you get what you pay for. If you are tempted to work with them due to the price - DON'T! They are totally unresponsive and untrustworthy. They could not get their act together so I agreed to close escrow without completing one item. We agreed that they would follow up in 2-4 weeks and sure enough, they completely disappeared and would not respond when I did not hear from them for 8 weeks. When I finally got someone to respond, they ordered the wrong report and were completely incompetent.
If you want an honest company to work with, don't use these guys - STAY AWAY!!!!
