They charged us $5,000 as a deposit for an SBA loan to start up a new business. After working with a representative (Michael Windsor) for 2 months he quit the company. No communication for 5-7 weeks following, no return calls, emails, or otherwise. Long story short, after 9 months, there was never any SBA approval NOR application to the SBA according to an SBA agent. We wrote to the SBA and to BBB to complain, they (capitalwerks) offered HALF of our money back if we withdrew the complaints. Then after trying to negotiate for more than half, they "changed their mind" about the offer and kept our $5,000.00 - Look up the term UPFRONT FEE SCAM and find CapitalWerks, LLC.
