A little over two years ago we bought a sofa and loveseat from Value City Furniture with a Stainsafe warranty since we have 2 cats. My cat had a bladder infection on 07/24/2009 which cause him to urinate all over our couch and loveseat since they look for the softest place to go when they have pain. By the time I got home from work they were both covered. Not missing a couch or pillow because they all soaked into one another or he peed in between cushions which caused all of them to have a little on. We can't even use our couch and loveseat right now because as you can imagine it is foul. I filed a claim to the insurance company Stainsafe for which the employee insured me I will not have any problems with and they are great. That was not the case, I received the decline email below. The declined me due to accumulation of stains. They did not accumulate, it all happen while I was a work over a 9 hour span. I called and they said since they are in more then one spot it is declined so because I have a job and wasn't home to file a claim after the 1st accident I'm not covered? The warranty doesn't say anything about that.
I will lose $1,437.72 if they do not replace these because since it took them so much time to respond it can not be cleaned anymore. I may be about to lose my job so I really can't afford just to replace them now. We will be sitting on the floor. I filed a report with the bbb and my local tv stations scam report where they try to help you get your issue fixed. We'll wait and see
