Absolutely horrific experience!

I cannot believe that the corporation that hired me in the first place would outsource their background checks service to a company like HireRight.
As per their request, I provided HireRight with all of the necessary documents/certifications/contact details via their application portal so that they could do their background checks. After about a week I was contacted via email by HireRight and asked to provide yet again the very same documents via email (something that I did), the following day, HireRight contacted me yet again asking me to fill out a new profile on their application platform as, apparently, there had been a technical glitch and they had lost all of my data. I filled out the applicant profile (for the second time) and provided HireRight with the requested documents (for the third time), but after a couple of days, they advised me yet again that they weren't able to verify my educational references for the BS I was awarded by an Irish university. I advised them to move on to another educational qualification (I also hold a BA from another university which is equivalent to a BS), but no - they had decided to ask me again for the very same documents that I had provided on at least 4 previous instances.
In the end, I got on to the HR people of the company that hired me and they advised me to fully ignore HireRight's requests as I had been fully cleared already.
Hope this is the first and last time I have had to deal with HireRight!
