Interesting call

Glad I found the reviews before I committed. What concerned me was the initial call created the impression that it WAS from Centurylink and that they just wanted to let me know they were lowering my bill. When I responded that I wasn't certain how many lines we had, I got transferred to a 'supervisor' who really put the pitch on...and who was from Preferred.
I deferred in order to look this review up. Again, glad I did. Things in the country went on so well for so long that a lot of caution has evaporated. So, welcome back to those fascinating days of yesteryear: Watch Your Hat and Coat!
