DO NOT TRUST SMARTCREDIT.COM!!! I opened an account and then closed it two days later. I decided paying $29.95 per month to stay informed about my credit was not right for me at this time in my life. I was then CONTINUALLY charged $29.95 for FIFTEEN MONTHS prior to closing my account. When I finally realized what was going on, I called smartcredit.com and was informed that my account was never closed because I was LOGGED IN online while I was on the telephone closing my account with a representative. Not only should someone have told me that at the time instead of TELLING ME MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED, but what kind of system is that? So instead of closing my account after I logged out, they just continued to charge me $29.95 a month until I noticed.
I am currently involved in an ongoing investigation trying to get my money back. Don't ever use smartcredit.com, they are just out to get your money.
