This woman knows dogs!
|
I recently saw Kristy smoothly walking about seven dogs at one time and approached her about the difficulties I have walking only one dog ( my 4 year old male doberman Rexxy who is 96 lbs of pure muscle). I knew that he should be walked, but I had pretty much given up on every walking him again because of his difficult and unpredictible behavior when out in public. It was more like me getting dragged than a walk. The worst part was that he had actually tried to bite people I encountered when walking him and I was afraid that he would evantually bite someone resulting in a very bad situation for the victim, him and me. Kristy educated me on what is realistic, provided tools (literally and metaphorically) and showed me what I had been doing wrong. When Kristy walked the dog he was immediately completely under her control; like a different animal! I learned a lot from only one sesson with Kristy. Now I am able to walk him without the fear, apprehension, anxiety, and stress I experienced before. She was kind enough to call me to follow up and check on how it's going and I know I can always call her for assitance should I have any questions or concerns. Oh sorry, gotta go now; Rexxy and I are going to take a walk.
