We bought a $200 dehuminifier from one of their online distributors (Sylvane) in March of 2013. When it stopped working 6 months later we sent WINIX mutiple emails and left multiple messages on both of their two telephone numbers (always an answering machine)and they never called back or answered our email. So, their warranty is basically useless since they do not respond to requests from customers for assistance. And to add insult in injury, the busted dehumidifier we bought is now "discontinued". How convenient. Oh well, my mistake. I should have gone to Home Depot in the first place....
