I gave this company a VERY non-deserving 1-star rating because I couldn't go any lower.
They are deceptive thieves and have NO INTEGRITY.
They sold me a "Seagate Momentus" hard drive (HDD) but it wasn't. It was an ancient Seagate Marathon 340MB HDD. This is pure crap and completely useless by any standard short of an ancient Windows 95 machine. Even then it was crap!
I fought tooth and nail to get an RMA and demanded a full refund. It has now been over 30 days since I returned the product (in its original packaging; unopened) and I have yet to receive it. I sent numerous emails, and when I tried calling them I was treated with great disrespect.
I have never dealt with a company of such poor customer service before in my life and wouldn't do business with them again even if I couldn't find the product anywhere else on the planet.
My next course of action is to file legal actions against them. After they're through paying for all of my time and my lawyer's time they'll wish they had just refunded my money.
I am utterly disgusted by E-Tech Silicon Valley, and after reading all the other reports on them, I wish I had never done business with them.
You would be WELL ADVISED to NEVER go near this business... EVER!!!
